Lucy's House

The Dining Well in Lucy's architect designed home, which we helped her furnish and decorate. The table was made to our design and was a metal frame with an inserted lino top together with traditional 1920s Thonet chairs.

In the sitting area we chose wool curtains which were only used in the winter and stored in the summer. Bill Amberg made the two footstools to our design and colour spec. For the authentic Corbusier chair we decided on an enamelled frame and a second red for the leather cushions.

Opposite the sitting room in the Bulthaupt kitchen are the Artemide office anglepoise lamps. The console table designed by us with the most wonderful pink glass top and Naguchi lamps.

The playroom pictures show their stage and the ceiling lamps set as the constellation of Orion with the star names in silver leaf.

The children's bedroom with beds made by us based on Carl Larsen's own.
