Some years ago we purchased about 3000 printing blocks from Yateley industries for the disabled – we saw this as a perfect adjunct to the wonderful old textiles we were using.
Hand block printing gives a richness to the surface pattern which compliments the high quality of our vintage cloth.
Block printing is incredibly time consuming, completely uncommercial, absolutely fascinating and we love it!
